So what's the trick?

      When adding numbers that end with the same number of zeroes, ignore the zeroes and add them like regular numbers.

Then, add the zeroes onto the sum at the end!

So, what does this tell us? 🤔

      When two digits are added at increasing place values, their sum increases in place value, too.

In other words, if you add a 0 to both addends, you can add a 0 to the sum, too! 🤓
