      The identity property of multiplication says that a number multiplied by 1 doesn't change.

When you see a number multiplied by 1, you already know the answer.

Tip: commutative sounds like the word commute, which means to move around.

      The associative property says that when 3 or more numbers are multiplied, it doesn't matter which two you multiply first.

You can multiply this first...

We can also solve this by multiplying the other factors first.
