Comparing 2-Digit Numbers

Let's learn to compare 2-digit numbers using examples! 🤗

Example 1: Which is larger, 47 or 62?

1️⃣ First, look at the digits in the Tens place.

Which digit is bigger? 🤔

That's right! It's 6.

⭐ The number with the bigger Tens place value is always greater.

So,

47 is less than 62

47 < 62

Example 2: Compare 58 and 51.

1️⃣ First, look at the digits in the Tens place.

Uh-oh! Both digits are equal. Now, what do we do? 🤔

2️⃣ When the tens place digits are equal, look at the Ones place.
