Cómo utilizar Has y Have

      Use has and have to tell when something owns another thing, in the present. 

Usa has y have para decir cuando algo es dueño de otra cosa, en el presente.

He has a car. They have a spaceship.

Él tiene un coche. Ellos tienen una nave espacial.

¿Cómo saber cuál usar, tiene o tiene?

      Use have with I, you, we, and they.

Utilizar con yo, tú, nosotros y ellos.

I have sneakers. You have flip flops. We have shoes. They have socks.

Yo tengo zapatillas, tú tienes chanclas, nosotros tenemos zapatos, ellos tienen calcetines.

      Use has with he, she, and it.

Usa has con he, she y it.

He has a dog. She has a cat. It has a bug.

      Use has with one person, place, or thing.

Usa has con una persona, lugar o cosa.

Mark has a scooter. San Diego has great roads for scooters.

      Use have with more than one person, place, or thing. 

Utiliza have con más de una persona, lugar o cosa.

The players have a long day ahead. The roads have potholes.

Los jugadores tienen un largo día por delante. Las carreteras tienen baches.

      Use has when your subject is one person, place, or thing, and you and your audience are not in that subject.

Utiliza el has cuando tu tema es una persona, lugar o cosa, y tú y tu audiencia no estáis en ese tema.

The rest of the time, use have.

El resto del tiempo, usa el haber.

Tom has questions. California has beaches. The beach has sand.

Tom tiene preguntas. California tiene playas. La playa tiene arena.

Beaches usually have sand. You have answers. We have fun. I have a beach towel. They have sand.

Las playas suelen tener arena, tú tienes respuestas, nosotros nos divertimos, yo tengo una toalla de playa, ellos tienen arena.
