What's a remainder? 🤔

      A remainder is a left-over number at the end of a division.

Un resto es un número que sobra al final de una división.

Long Division with a Remainder

539 ÷ 4 = ?

Start by writing the long division form.

Empieza escribiendo la forma de división larga.

Now, look at the first digit of the dividend.

Ahora, mira el primer dígito del dividendo.

It's 5.

How many 4's can fit into 5 without going over?
