      When we round a number, we decide which “Ten” it is closest to.

When you round, look at which digits is in the Tens place and which is in the Ones place.

      If the digit in the Ones place is 5 or greater (that means 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9), you’re always going to round up 👆!

This means you’ll add 1 to the number in the Tens place.

And you’ll change the number in the Ones place to 0.

     If the digit in Ones place is 4 or less (that means 4, 3, 2, or 1), you’re going to leave the digit in the Tens place alone.
